Ping's spaceship?

...unfortunately not.  This is a ring I made not too long after making the log cabin ring.  It was more or less a trial piece.  I'm going to try making another one in more space-shippy colors....



I like a lot of the details I put in--the exhaust pipes, the running lights, and the closure.  I'm especially proud of the hatch--it was a lot easier than I thought it would be and I like the way it looks.

    Ok - I give up. What did you make the transparent hatch of? Good to see you back to blog world. Now I need to get busy with my blog again, my excuse... work is heck

    You know, I'm not real sure. One of the things that happened when my daughter and her family were living with me is I accumulated a lot of...things. Toys, collectibles, packages, debris...etc. I stumbled across a couple of those plastic "bubbles" when cleaning up after they moved out. I think they came from some sort of packaging of toys for the boys. I sure wish I knew where they came from as I'd LOVE to get my hands on some more.
